HumanWork - collaborative project management software
Collaborative project management software combine project management, groupware and collaborative tools. It is an answer to the basic limitation of traditional project management software - that is impossibility to exchange on-line the key project data within project team. Thus it requires an intermediary function of a project managers, who are burden with daily routine of delivering task and documents to their people, tracking their task's progress reports and constant updating the project plan. The other members of project team in turn has a limited access to data (which is updated late as well) and they can't edit the project schedule.
HumanWork instead serves as communication platform among co-workers and as a work and document flow engine. It proceeds the data of all company processes and incidents and, in due time, it provides the appointed people with information on task execution and the required documentation. Owing to that all team members have a direct access to project data any time and place. They know the current status and work progress of the tasks of their co-workers, as well as the overall project course. Within their access rights they can also edit and expand project plan. They use one common document repository, which ensures automatic storage and versioning of documents. Their team communication - via e-mails, forum or other documents - is connected to appropriate tasks, cases and projects.
HumanWork guarantees the co-workers an integrated environment of teamwork. All of their activities from document processing and task execution to the management of project and processes are planned, realised, discussed, reported and controlled within the same system.
